1. Log in to the Enterprise Management Console, and click Expand Seats in Organization Overview or Subscription & Usage > Subscription Management to initiate the expansion. You will be automatically redirected to the expansion purchase page.
Note:
Use the Tencent Cloud account of the purchasing enterprise to expand seats. You can view the Tencent Cloud account on the Overview page. If the account is incorrect, log in again.
2. Go to the expansion purchase page and fill in the required information.
Confirm the enterprise information and the enterprise super administrator's mobile number.
Confirm the expiration time. It cannot be changed during the expansion. If renewal is needed, you can renew after the expansion is completed. For details, see Renewal Instructions.
Select the number of expansion licenses. The minimum purchase is 1 license.
Note:
During the subscription period, each license is granted 2,000 points per month. After expansion, you will immediately receive number of licenses × 2,000 × remaining days in the current cycle / total days in the calendar month points, and the points will be reset with the monthly fixed capacity.
Expansion fees are calculated based on the subscription cycle. For the portion less than one month from the order date, the usage and fees are prorated based on the remaining duration. Starting from the next subscription cycle, quota points are granted in full.
After the order is placed successfully, the point quota is immediately issued and available for use.
Scenario 1: The customer's subscribed Ultimate Edition will expire on June 14, 2026. The customer places an order to purchase 2 licenses when the plan has 19 days remaining. Then:
This expansion will be billed based on 0.6 subscription cycles.
You will immediately receive 2 × 2000 × 19 / 31 = 2451 points (each seat is granted 2,000 points per month).
The points granted this month will be reset on the 14th of the following month (19 days from now). If you expect that you cannot fully use these points before the reset, we recommend that you wait until the next reset cycle begins before performing the expansion to get a longer usage period for the points.
Scenario 2: The customer subscribes to the Ultimate Edition for 3 months on May 15, 2026, and expands 2 seats on May 28, 2026, which means the customer places an order to purchase 2 licenses when the plan has 2 months and 19 days remaining. Then:
This expansion will be billed based on 2.6 subscription cycles.
You will immediately receive 2 × 2000 × 19 / 31 = 2451 points (each seat is granted 2,000 points per month).
The points granted this month will be reset on June 15, 2026 (19 days from now). If you expect that you cannot fully use these points before the reset, we recommend that you wait until the next reset cycle begins before performing the expansion to get a longer usage period for the points.
3. After the purchase is completed, return to the Enterprise Management Console and check in Organization Overview > Remaining Seats whether the number of licenses has increased correctly.
